I found this anime after it ended up all over my tumblr so I gave it a look and I was glad I did.

Kokoro Connect follows a club of five students who formed a society club when they didn't know what else to do. The show starts with the members of the club switching bodies suddenly and at complete random. A being known as HeartSeed begins to mess with the mentalities of the club members is various ways to entertain themselves at the great expense of the club members.

This anime does a great job at exploring the concept of what a person actually is and how any interference can really disrupt the way one thinks of themselves. This also really affects how interpersonal relationships can work as well. If a person's mentality gets shaken, how well can they interact with their friends and to what extent is a person actually a friend?

Kokoro Connect leans on some heavy philosophical concepts while keeping a fairly light feel. The show can get dark but there is plenty of humor to keep it going. Another nice focus is that, while they are changing bodies, they are also highschoolers trying to figure themselves out sexually. Since sexuality is a trait of humans, it is nice to actually have the characters explore themselves in relation to one another.

It's got some crazy awesome animation and characterization so if that's your thing, check out Kokoro Connect.
