Araragi Koyomi from Monogatari Series (Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari)
So he's kind of a jerk and fairly perverted with a troublesome sense of humor. What makes Araragi Koyomi one of my favorite characters is that he is well thought out; I love every character from the Monogatari Series for this.
He exhibits a good deal of sexual harassment that he eventually learns from (thankfully).

He has the disposition to try to save everyone. Being partially a vampire helps but that rarely is why he is able to. His capability to hold grandiose conversations that trail on to no end are amazingly interesting and he usually tries to throw beliefs at his antagonists before actually getting into a fight with them. And although his character placement in the story is that of the prince that saves the girls, he is rarely able to; he usually requires help from someone else to do any saving or is usually the one being saved. In most cases, and fitting with the theme of the show, he is only there to help. He can't actually save anyone. They have to save themselves while he is usually the one getting help in the end.

But I think that one of my favorite pars of him is that he doesn't want to be the main character. Unlike Kyon from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Koyomi rarely makes things about himself but when he does, he is as selfish as possible. He is a relatable character that actually has flaws and has his flaws pointed out. They aren't held up as a positive trait.

And he talks. A lot. The entire show is mostly dialogue that usually includes him. He is a wonderfully stupid character that just wants to uphold his ideals and has been thrust into a show as the main character.
