Winry embodies patience and is just as strong as Ed and Al are. She is crucial to those two characters (and even more for Ed due to the automail) yet can survive without them. She runs the automail shop with Pinako and has a massive following in Rush Valley because of her ability as a mechanic. She is caring and understanding, yet will grill Ed and Al for doing anything dangerous, out of love and because she knows that they lack a sense of awareness when it comes to that sort of thing.
